Our mission

From my youngest years, I have always loved anything with an engine in it, and upon starting my career as an Optometrist, I have found incredible passion and gratitude in being able to do what I do every day, serving as an Optometrist. They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I say beauty is the eye itself.

As the years went on, I wondered what it would be like to be on the road whilst still serving as an optometrist, though as always, I wanted to be different. To deliver mobile optometry as a complete and exquisite service, with our own complete and exquisite eyewear to boot: this is truly underserved in the eye health optical industry, and is the thought which conceived the journey of Sight on Site Optometry & Eyewear.

Ultimately, I have a dream that the Sight on Site Optometry vans become a standard for schools across Queensland, and perhaps someday, across Australia. I wish for these vans to not only be able to serve every child free access to their complete and timely optometry examinations, but to also provide high quality, fashionable eyewear, entirely free of charge. No one is ever born choosing to need glasses, and no child should ever find a barrier when playing, learning and growing, in having their best vision possible. Our children are our futures, and every booking, every purchase, every phone call is one step we all take in seeing this dream come true.
